Frequently asked questions

The urgency of your condition and the needs of other patients seeking appointments at the same time will determine how quickly we can see you. We prioritize patients based on urgency and strive to accommodate all urgent referrals as soon as possible.

For an initial appointment, a referral letter from your General Practitioner or another specialist is required. For follow-up appointments, a new referral letter is only necessary if the original referral has expired—this is typically 12 months for GP referrals and three months for referrals from other specialists. We will inform you if a new referral is needed.

For your appointment, please bring:

  • Your Medicare card.

  • Your Health Fund information.

  • Any relevant X-rays, scans, and test results from your GP or other specialists.

  • A list of all the medications you are currently taking.

Consultation fees depend on the type of appointment—whether it's for a new issue or a review. You will be required to pay a small out-of-pocket amount toward this fee. Our friendly staff will inform you of the applicable fees at the time of booking your appointment.

There is no gap payment required for procedures performed in the hospital. All applicable fees will be discussed during your consultation.

For uninsured patients choosing to self-fund, a detailed quote will be provided at the time of consultation.

We will send you an SMS reminder 48 hours before the consultation. You will need to confirm the appointment by return SMS. If after confirmation, you do not attend administrative charges may apply.

There is onsite parking conveniently located behind our rooms. If the onsite parking is full, there is plenty of street parking available just outside our consulting rooms.

The practice is also wheelchair accessible.
